HPRL PERSONNEL
The personnel of the Head Protection Research Laboratory are essentially the same basic staff as assembled when at the University of Southern California, representing a unique collection of technical education and experience in accident research. This small group represents experience in motorcycle and bicycle accident research far beyond any other organization in the world, and includes experience in head protection research and testing which began with the development of the modern head protection technology attributed to Dr. C. F. Lombard in the 1950's. The staff qualifications include the specialized areas of engineering, safety science, biomechanics, human factors and engineering psychology, and accident reconstruction and replication. Information about each member of the staff can be obtained by clicking on the link below. Copies of more detailed resumes are available by written request to HPRL. Sandra L. Brown Brian M.
